A growing technology company providing advanced financial solutions for property owners is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join a small and highly influential product team.
This role is ideal for a backend-oriented engineer who also feels comfortable working across the stack. The preferred balance is approximately 50% backend and 50% frontend, although candidates with a stronger backend focus are highly relevant.
Beyond strong technical capabilities, the company is looking for someone with leadership potential, initiative, and the ambition to grow into a team-management position.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop end-to-end product capabilities using Node.js and React
• Build scalable backend services and microservice-based systems
• Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases in a cloud-based environment
• Take ownership of features from architecture and design through deployment and production
• Contribute ideas and influence product and technical decisions
• Collaborate closely with Product and other engineering stakeholders
• Help improve development standards, architecture, and engineering processes
• Mentor team members and gradually take on broader technical leadership responsibilities
Required Experience
• 5+ years of software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js — mandatory
• Experience developing modern web applications with React
• Solid understanding of microservices and distributed backend systems
• Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases
• Hands-on experience with AWS and production cloud environments
• Strong system-design, problem-solving, and ownership capabilities
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, leadership-oriented mindset
Strong Advantages
• Previous experience leading a small team or mentoring developers
• Experience with MongoDB and AWS RDS
• Backend development experience with Java
• Background in fintech, PropTech, payments, or financial products
• Interest in progressing into a Team Lead position
