We’re looking for a curious, analytical, and hands-on Technical Researcher to join our team. In this role, you’ll dive deep into complex technical issues across systems, networks, and applications—helping uncover root causes and deliver clear, actionable insights to engineering and operations teams.
Responsibilities
- Investigate and analyze technical issues across operating systems, networks, and applications
- Reproduce and compare behaviors across different environments
- Research OS internals, configurations, and system behaviors
- Analyze network traffic, browser behavior, and web interactions
- Evaluate deployment, configuration, and endpoint management tools
- Assess certificate chains and trust relationships
- Document findings clearly and communicate them to technical stakeholders
Requirements
- Have a 4+ years of experience in a technical research, support, or troubleshooting role
- Strong investigative and problem-solving mindset
- Solid understanding of operating systems, networking, and web technologies
- Experience with diagnostic/debugging tools (e.g., packet sniffers, browser dev tools)
- Fast learner with the ability to explore new technologies independently
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Hands-on experience with Windows, macOS, and Linux
- Familiarity with endpoint management and deployment tools (e.g., Intune, Jamf, JumpCloud) – a plus
- Understanding of PKI, certificate chains, and trust models – a plus
- Knowledge of modern web architectures and debugging techniques – a plus
