We’re looking for an experienced Fullstack Engineer (backend-leaning) to join a core product engineering team building end-to-end security capabilities for enterprise customers. You’ll own critical backend services and help scale a cloud-native microservice architecture that protects millions of web browsers across dozens of organizations—shipping fast, thinking deep, and building for reliability.
What you’ll do
- Design and develop complex security capabilities end-to-end (mostly backend, with selective fullstack work)
- Take strong ownership of a mission-critical production system running at global scale
- Build and evolve cloud-native microservices with a focus on performance, resilience, and clean interfaces
- Participate in architecture & design forums and influence core technical decisions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with DevOps, Product, and Security experts to deliver robust solutions
- Ensure code quality via testing, peer reviews, and best-practice engineering standards
- Debug and optimize complex distributed systems (and enjoy the challenge)
- Work close to customer-facing teams to translate real needs into technical solutions
- Ship frequently with modern CI/CD and release tooling (yes—sometimes multiple deploys a day)
Must-have requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and React (mandatory)
- Experience building cloud-native microservices
- Experience with cloud providers: AWS / GCP / Azure
- Experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD, and GitOps
- Strong debugging skills for distributed systems + ability to optimize for high performance and reliability
- Ability to translate customer requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum
- Background in cybersecurity – advantages
- Deep understanding of web + browser technologies/security (Chrome/Edge/Firefox/Safari) – advantages
- Experience with stacks like Kafka, Redis, Postgres, Terraform, ArgoCD, Temporal – advantages
- B.Sc. in CS/Software Engineering (or equivalent experience) – advantages
