We’re looking for an experienced, strategic FinOps Team Lead to own and scale Cloud Financial Operations across multiple business units and cloud environments—driving cloud cost optimization, financial accountability, and operational efficiency in partnership with Engineering, Finance, Procurement, and Product.
What you’ll do
- Lead & mentor a team of FinOps professionals (coaching, growth plans, role clarity)
- Drive optimization initiatives across AWS / Azure / GCP and manage priorities end-to-end
- Build weekly/monthly/annual work plans, and establish FinOps governance & compliance
- Deliver dashboards, reporting, savings visibility, ROI tracking for leadership & stakeholders
- Act as the cross-functional bridge between cloud service owners and financial stakeholders
- Lead POCs for FinOps tools, define KPIs, and recommend enterprise adoption
- Communicate FinOps value, ROI, best practices across the org
Requirements
- 3+ years in FinOps / Cloud Financial Management / Cloud Cost Optimization
- Deep expertise in cloud pricing models, cost drivers, and service structures across AWS, Azure, GCP
- Cloud certification: AWS / Azure / GCP (one required)
- Proven leadership: team management + measurable cost savings at scale
- Bachelor’s in Finance / Business / CS (Master’s preferred)
- FinOps Foundation certification – advantage
- Budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling for cloud – advantage
- Automation / scripting for cost optimization – advantage
- Experience in fast-paced, matrixed environments – advantage
