A fast-growing Israeli cybersecurity company is developing an advanced browser security platform that protects all enterprise browsing activity—across any browser and device—without requiring installations or custom browsers.
With dozens of paying enterprise customers across industries, the company is scaling its R&D efforts and looking for a hands-on, technically strong Automation Engineer to lead test automation and end-to-end quality efforts.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for both UI and API testing
- Develop and run E2E, integration, performance, and load tests
- Ensure high test coverage and code quality in collaboration with developers
- Troubleshoot test failures, perform root cause analysis, and track bugs
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Apply best practices in QA, automation design, and testing architecture
- Work independently and take ownership over the entire test process
- Use AI tools to accelerate test writing and automation productivity
- Understand the browser security domain, including proxy logic and networking (advantage)
Requirements
- Have a 5+ years of experience in automation development and QA – with Python
- Deep hands-on experience with pytest and Selenium or equivalent
- Solid understanding of OOP and test architecture design
- Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman or
requests - Experience integrating tests in CI/CD environments
- Self-motivated, highly independent, and proactive in identifying test needs
- Familiarity with Linux/macOS/Windows environments – Advantage
- Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes – Advantage
- Background or understanding of networking/proxy layers – Big plus
- Bonus: Experience in browser security or secure enterprise SaaS products
