A fast-growing SaaS company in the cybersecurity space is looking for a hands-on AI Engineer (or Senior Data Scientist) to join a small, high-impact team shaping the future of secure, intelligent web access.
This is a rare opportunity to lead end-to-end development of machine learning solutions in a real-world product with direct customer impact.
You’ll design and deploy models that power real-time decision-making in a cloud-native, scalable architecture — including anomaly detection, LLM-based systems, and behavioral risk analysis.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement ML models for threat detection, user behavior analytics, and intelligent decision-making
- Research and apply cutting-edge AI approaches, including LLMs, OpenAI, Gemini, and classical models
- Run high-quality evaluation pipelines, validate experiments, and perform A/B testing
- Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to build production-ready AI features
- Maintain strong code quality and documentation for integration with backend systems
- Own the full lifecycle from research to deployment and iteration
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in applied machine learning or data science
- Strong background in cybersecurity or related domain – highly preferred
- Proven experience with both classical ML models and modern LLMs
- Deep knowledge of statistics, experiment design, and model evaluation
- Comfortable writing production-grade code (Python preferred)
- Independent, reliable, highly self-motivated — capable of working as the sole AI expert
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to partner with dev and product teams
- BSc in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, or a related field (with Data Science focus) – required
- MSc – a strong plus
